The back door bursts open and Zoe rushes in, nothing out of the ordinary, it’s the time she usually comes home from work…

Except today she looks really scared, and -what happened to her lovely work clothes?

Allan: Hey Zoe, how was your work d…. Uh? Honey, what happened to you?
Zoe: Well, I just got struck by a lightning bolt.
Allan: A lightning bolt? Oh dear, that’s awful, tell me, are you okay?

Zoe: I think so, but I was so scared…
Allan: Aw, come here baby, it’s okay, you’re safe at home now.

Lukas: What did you say happened to mom?
Kennedy: She was struck by lightning, but she’s okay now, she’s with Dad. Please don’t tell Anika, she would panic, you know how she hates storms.
Lukas: Okay.

Minutes later, Allan and Zoe are laughing together about what happened. Allan was able to calm her down with his jokes, which in turn soothed the rest of the family. It is clear not even the strongest storm can bring down the Wilsons. They are closer than ever in spite of everything.
