The Starlight Accolade Awards ceremony is about to start, some other celebrities are just arriving. The announcer is waiting for them to take their places; Zoe decided to stay in the back row.

Allan doesn’t know what else to tell Brytani, except that he looks forward to visiting Mercy soon. He knows Zoe is watching him. Shouldn’t he be sitting with her? This whole situation is giving him a tension headache.

They just announced the award for Best Actress in a Comedy.
Announcer: And the Starlight Accolade goes to….. Brytani Cho! At the back of the room, the other celebrities don’t seem to be very attentive.

Brytani has grabbed hold of her award. Allan seems the only one interested. He can’t believe it, she was much further behind in her career than he was, yet she already got her first Accolade.

Yeah, Allan is a bit jealous, but still happy for her; Zoe is struggling to cope. The (small) applause has ceased, Brytani’s acceptance speech is coming up next.
