Early in the morning, Allan is arriving home, Zoe is already waiting for him in the hallway outside the bedroom.

Zoe: So, Al, what did you want to tell me?
Allan: Hold on a minute, I gotta have a smoke, it’ll be the last one, I promise.
Zoe: …

Allan finishes his cigarette, it’s time for a true apology. He prepares for his speech; Zoe knows by heart what he’s going to say.

But this time Allan tries really hard and apologizes as sincerely and credibly as possible.
Allan: See, Zoe, I truly regret everything I have done; I promise you that from today on I will be a faithful husband and the best father to our children, just please forgive me, my life is no life without you, Zoe.
Zoe: *Sighs*

Zoe: I’m sorry, Ally, but I don’t know if I believe you, you’ve promised the same thing so many times…
Allan: But this time it’s for real.
Zoe: M-hm.
Allan: Please, Zoe, give me a chance, the last one, okay?

Seeing that Zoe is hesitating to forgive him, Allan resorts once more to his hopeless romantic tricks…

Which work this time because Zoe loves him so much, and because her life isn’t the same without Allan by her side either.

Zoe: All right, all right, save your tricks, okay? You don’t need them anymore; cause I’m going to forgive you.
Allan: R-really?
Zoe: Yes, but…

Zoe: You sir will be on probation; like I said before, if I find out you’re back to your ways, that’s it.
Allan: You got nothing to worry about, I assure you I will behave myself!

Zoe: I really hope so, baby, or you’ll have to find another place to sleep.
Allan: *Melts*. You’ll get no complaints from me.
Zoe: Great, so no booze, no dope, and no more flings, alright?
Allan: Sure, anything you say, baby.

Well, it looks like Zoe is in charge of the situation now, and Allan seems delighted with it. Let’s hope it all stays that way, for the sake of the Wilsons. 😉
