It’s breakfast time in the dorm, Sarah called Lauri, she’s on her way over. Dale made waffles for everyone, for which the girls are grateful, since none of them were gifted with the cooking skills.

Lauri is just arriving, the other three are already sitting at the table.

(By the way, I’m still redecorating the dorm. I decided to remove the kitchen table and just put in a small bar with stools. Now the kitchen looks more uncluttered, and the guys will eat in the actual dining room, where there’s more space, so they will be less cramped).

In spite of it all, it’s a very peaceful breakfast time; everyone seems relaxed, and the conversation is casual.

Sarah leads the chatter, focused mostly on Lauri, all indications are that the two are hitting it off, which is a welcome relief for Dale. And Kelly, of course, who had to eat breakfast in a hurry because her class is about to start.

It’s hard for Kelly to leave Dale alone with two women, but at least she knows that he’s not in danger with Sarah. As for Lauri, well, everything seems to be in order, but she’ll have to keep watching her.

Kelly: (to herself as she leaves) I mean, why, when there were two empty chairs, one of them next to Sarah, did she have to go sit right next to Dale?

That’s a good question, since Lauri herself doesn’t know the answer, she likes Sarah, and she appears to be a good prospect, but Dale?

Well, he’s an absolute magnet to her. But she gets it he already has a girlfriend, who is really jealous by the way, plus Lauri isn’t a boyfriend-stealer, so she’ll have to pursue other horizons.

Kelly: (As she pulls up in Dale’s car) Sorry Lauri, but this man is very taken, you better behave or next time I won’t be so friendly.
