Lauri is the first to enter the kitchen.

Dale and Sarah have been talking in a very low voice and suddenly fall silent, which draws Lauri’s attention.

There’s definitely something going on here, Lauri can’t help but feel a little awkward, but she chooses to act if nothing weird is happening.

Lauri: Hi again, Dale, I hope you enjoyed the Gnubb match.

Dale: I did, thank you.

(Sarah restrains herself from making a joke).

Lauri: Sarah, uh… sorry I didn’t say hi earlier, I didn’t mean to interrupt you while you were studying. It’s nice to meet you.

Sarah: Oh, don’t worry, I wasn’t studying, I was playing a video game.

Lauri: Really? Well, anyway, it’s nice to meet you.

Sarah: Nice to meet you too, Lauri.

Dale breathes a sigh of relief to see Sarah and Lauri seem to like each other. This could be the start of a nice friendship, or better.

He’s about to express his joy that the two girls have finally met, when Kelly enters the kitchen as well. Now, here comes the tricky part, Kelly liking Lauri. (She hated Riley from the get-go, remember?) Dale crosses his fingers under the table that everything goes well. By all means he wants this last term in Uni to be spent in peace and harmony.
