Going for a snack is a good excuse to examine the barista, that Harvey guy, who (Dale noticed), tried to make small talk with Kelly.

Terry would surely say that Harvey is one of those guys to keep an eye on. Should Dale keep an eye on him, or should he say something to him, give him some kind of warning? Something like “You better stay away from Kelly” in a threatening tone, maybe? That’s what Terry would undoubtedly do.

While Harvey fills Dale’s order, he watches him carefully. Young, dark-haired, he looks like a young Mel Gibson. Wait, Kelly doesn’t like Mel Gibson, does she?
Dale: (internally) Yeah, I’ll be watching you, Harvey, but I’m not going to threaten you just this once. I’d look too worried, and I’m not, am I?
Yeah, believe it or not, popular and all, Dale has his insecurities too.
